ITE&C Web Application does not automatically capture any specific personal information from you, (like name, phone number or e-mail address), that allows us to identify you individually.

4. Content Archival Policy (CAP)
The content components are created with metadata, source and validity date. There would be some content which is permanent in nature and for such content it is assumed that the content would review in every ten years unless it is edited / deleted based on the requirement. The content shall not be displayed on the Website after the validity date.
Some of the short lived content components like tenders, recruitment etc., which will not have any relevance on the website after the intended purpose.
The content components like documents, reports, latest news is regularly reviewed as per the Content Review Policy
The content is reviewed at least two weeks prior to the validity date and if required content will be revalidated and validity date is modified. If content is not relevant, then the content is archived and no longer published on the Website.

5. Content Contribution, Moderation & Approval (CMAP)
Content would be contributed by the authorized Content Manager of the ITE&C in a consistent fashion to maintain uniformity and to bring in standardization along with associated metadata and keywords. In order to present the content as per the requirement of the viewer, organize the content in categorized manner and to retrieve the relevant content efficiently, the content is contributed to the website through a Content Management System which would be web-based having user-friendly interface.
The content on the website goes through the entire life-cycle process of: -
   a) Creation
   b) Modification
   c) Approval
   d) Moderation
   e) Publishing
   f) Expiry
Once the content is contributed it is approved and moderated prior to being published on the Website. If the content is rejected at any level, then it is reverted back to the originator of the content for modification.
ITE&C has prescribed the appropriate Moderator & Approver for each of the content element.
6. Content Review Policy (CRP)
The ITE&C Web Application is the face of the Government disseminating government information and services. This content Review Policy has been formulated to keep the content on the ITE&C Web Application current and up-to-date. Since the type of the content on the ITE&C Web Application varies, different Review timelines are defined for the diverse content elements.
This Review Policy is based on different types of content elements, their validity and relevance as well as the archival policy.
7. Security Policy
ITE&C takes all steps possible to ensure that the data on the ITE&C Web Application is accurate. If something is found to be inaccurate ITE&C will make every effort to correct said information as quickly as possible. If it is found to be an inaccuracy with the entire system ITE&C will work swiftly to correct the problem so that your web experience is as trouble-free as possible. The information contained on ITE&C website is subject to change without prior advance notice.
All security issues related to the ITE&C Web Application will be addressed as per security guidelines issued by Government of India from time to time.
8. Monitoring
ITE&C has a ITE&C Web Application Monitoring Policy in place and the website is monitored periodically to address and fix the quality and compatibility issues around the following parameters:
Performance: Site download time is optimized for a variety of network connections as well as devices. All important pages of the ITE&C Web Application Web Application are tested for this.
Functionality: All modules of the ITE&C Web Application are tested for their functionality. The interactive components of the ITE&C Web Application such as, feedback forms are working smoothly.
Broken Links: The ITE&C Web Application is thoroughly reviewed to rule out the presence of any broken links or errors.
Traffic Analysis: The ITE&C Web Application traffic is regularly monitored to analyse the usage patterns as well as visitors profile and preferences.
